This poetry booklet is a collection of poems that document the first few years of my life navigating complex feelings and emotions around transitioning, going through divorce, self-discovery, embracing identity, coping with loss, processing anger, and holding space for joy and grief at the same time. Many of the songs and poems also come from the rage and anger of our country delving into a neo-fascist state, and frustration around the marginalization, mistreatment, and erasure of trans people in our society.
