She began writing music and poetry in 2024 as a way to document her personal story. Domenique draws influence from a wide range of artists, including Pretty Lights, Aphex Twin, Sylvan Esso, Porter Robinson, Fred Again, and SOPHIE—blending experimental textures with accessible energy. Her music is equally informed by protest traditions and a commitment to preserving trans narratives at a time when they are increasingly at risk.
