domenique.
Domenique is an electronic musician, spoken word artist, and storyteller whose work blends poetic lyricism with emotive, dance-driven production. Her music is rooted in personal experience—shaped by her journey through transition, divorce, and the pursuit of resilience in an era marked by rising transphobia and political extremism.
She began writing music and poetry in 2024 as a way to document her personal story. Her debut album, 414, is a powerful fusion of spoken word and electronic music, exploring themes of identity, grief, transformation, and resistance. With a sound that is both intimate and expansive, her work invites listeners into a space where vulnerability meets rhythm.
Domenique draws influence from a wide range of artists, including Pretty Lights, Aphex Twin, Sylvan Esso, Porter Robinson, Fred Again, and SOPHIE—blending experimental textures with accessible energy. Her music is equally informed by protest traditions and a commitment to preserving trans narratives at a time when they are increasingly at risk. She lives in the Pacific Northwest with her pasta-loving pup, Luigi.
